1. As is known to all, yeast contain water, yeast baking work rely on sawdust drying with high temperature air heat exchange, therefore, yeast moisture content before drying directly affects the heat treatment, high moisture in the drying of yeast need to consume more energy, therefore, for the high moisture content of yeast,first should be dried dehydration, only in this way can achieve the ideal effect in the late dry work, speed up the yeast drying, reduce the loss of heat.
2. Generally, the drum speed of the yeast dryer is 12r/mi, the loss of heat energy is about 1226w. When the drum speed increases, the retention time of the yeast in the drying drum will decrease,but in the yeast drying drum without inclination, the effect of rotational speed on the retention time is not as obvious as that of the inlet airflow velocity.
3. When the airflow velocity at the inlet of the equipment is 16m/s, the heat loss is about 1582w. According to the above article 2, when the airflow velocity at the inlet increases, the yeast retention time decreases, and the moisture content of the yeast at the outlet still increases,power for dehydration decreases,the heat loss increases.
Only by finding out the reasons affecting the yeast drying loss, can we effectively avoid the resource waste caused by the excessive equipment loss, improve the yeast drying efficiency, and realize the profit of the project.
